Healthy Tip

Natural Antiseptic
Hand Sanitizer Recipe

1    2-4 oz. squeezable plastic container (you can find these containers with the small size items for travel)

Fill the bottle with Aloe Vera Gel; add 5-10 drops of Guardian Essential Oil. Mix by shaking. Squeeze a small amount on your hands and rub. It will feel sticky at first, but as it dries it will leave your hands sanitized and feeling smooth.
The typical commercial hand sanitizer, which is usually alcohol-based, strips the skin of the outer layer of oil, which normally prevents resident bacteria from coming to the surface. Also, the alcohol base is very drying to the hands.
